We are looking for a dedicated Chemistry Teacher with solid subject expertise and laboratory experience to guide students through advanced chemistry concepts and examination preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry effectively, ensuring clear understanding of concepts and scientific principles.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Conduct practical sessions and laboratory experiments while ensuring laboratory safety.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and examination papers.
- Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and support academic improvement.
- Prepare students for examinations through revision sessions and practice questions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments.
- Encourage scientific thinking, analytical skills, and practical application of concepts.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and school activities.
Qualifications and Selection Criteria
- MSc in Chemistry is mandatory.
- B.Ed qualification is mandatory.
- Relevant teaching experience in Chemistry, preferably at the senior secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience teaching the relevant curriculum, preferably CBSE, if applicable.
- Practical knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prepare students for board examinations and support different learning needs.
