About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically inclined Application & Sales Engineer (Female) to join our growing team in Vadodara.
This is a technical sales and application engineering role where you will work closely with customers, understand their technical requirements, recommend suitable solutions, prepare quotations, and coordinate with internal engineering and sales teams.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating with customers, understanding engineering requirements, preparing technical/commercial proposals, and developing long-term customer relationships.
You will get exposure to industrial process equipment, pressure protection, safety systems, engineering calculations, and B2B technical sales.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Application Engineering
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate Flammer products and solutions.
- Study process parameters, equipment details, operating conditions, pressure/temperature requirements, and other technical information.
- Assist in selecting suitable Rupture Discs, Safety Valves/PSVs, Explosion Protection Systems, Flame Arresters, Breather Valves, and other safety products.
- Prepare technical offers, datasheets, product selections, and application-related documentation.
- Coordinate with the engineering team for technical queries and customized requirements.
- Assist customers in understanding product specifications, installation requirements, and applications.
- Develop knowledge of applicable industrial standards and engineering practices.
Sales & Business Development
- Handle sales enquiries from existing and prospective customers.
- Identify new business opportunities through customer interaction, enquiries, databases, references, and market research.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations.
- Follow up on quotations and convert enquiries into orders.
- Maintain regular communication with customers and develop long-term relationships.
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, EPC companies, contractors, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, and sales opportunities.
- Support the sales team in achieving business growth targets.
Customer Interaction
- Communicate professionally with customers through email, telephone, WhatsApp, and online meetings.
- Understand customer problems and provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions.
- Coordinate with customers for technical clarifications, documentation, and order requirements.
- Build strong and professional relationships with customers.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a candidate who is:
- Female candidate with an engineering background.
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Production, or a related engineering discipline.
- Freshers can apply; candidates with 1–3 years of experience in technical sales/application engineering will be preferred.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi/Gujarati.
- Comfortable communicating with customers and understanding their requirements.
- Willing to learn technical products and engineering concepts.
- Good with MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Organized, responsible, and capable of following up on multiple enquiries.
- Confident, skilled, and customer-oriented.
- Interested in developing a long-term career in technical sales and engineering.
