The Chemist is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate analysis and reporting of all RM, packing material IPQC and Finished Goods sample results in accordance defined tesing protocols and procedures maintaining daily calibrations, solution preparation and standerdisations, upkeep of instrument by careful usage and upholding SHE compliance to achieve operational excellence, support system improvements, implement cost-saving measures, maintain housekeeping standards, and fulfilling internal customer requirements by delivering accurate results. Participate in various departmental and business initiatives. Highlight abonormalities in result and communicate it to concerned department.
Job Description
• Quality Assurance of Raw Materials , In process finished goods, Containerised Finished Product, & Packaging Materials:
Ensure compliance with Grasim's standards through meticulous inspection, regular calibration, and timely I sample analysis to produce quality products as per the Quality Plan and adherence to sampling protocol & to retain sample policy.
• Systems & sustainability: Drive system enhancement by implementing maintenance strategies, cost reduction, and kaizen practices, while upholding 5S principles to achieve both departmental and organizational objectives.
• Safety Health & Environment: SHE compliance Plan & implement Statutory & SHE compliance, Dupont safety system & procedure pertaining to process area for un-interrupted operation
