Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role in Kolkata for a GST-knowledge-based candidate. The role involves preparing and filing GST returns, reconciling GST data with accounting records, and maintaining accurate documentation for audits and compliance. The candidate will assist in GST registration processes, handle GST-related queries, and monitor changes in GST laws and regulations. Daily tasks include coordinating with clients for required information, supporting the accounting team in ledger posting and invoice verification,



and ensuring timely compliance with statutory deadlines.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, and procedures, including GST return filing and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and ledger maintenance using accounting software.
• Ability to analyze financial data, perform reconciliations, and prepare accurate reports.
• Good communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Kolkata, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications in taxation or GST are an advantage.
• Experience in an accounting or tax firm, particularly in indirect taxation, will be considered a strong plus.
