Role Description This is a part time, remote role for a ServiceNow CMDB Expert. The role involves designing, configuring, and maintaining the ServiceNow CMDB, including defining data models, relationships, and integration points with other IT systems. The expert will oversee data quality, perform regular audits,



and implement governance processes to ensure accurate and reliable configuration item (CI) information. Responsibilities include collaborating with IT operations, security, and development teams to map services, standardize CI classes, and support incident, change, and problem management workflows. The role also includes developing documentation, providing guidance on CMDB best practices, and assisting with ServiceNow enhancements and automation relevant to configuration management.
Qualifications
• Strong experience with ServiceNow CMDB design, configuration, and administration, including defining CI classes, attributes, and relationships.
• Skills in data modeling, CMDB governance, and data quality management, with the ability to perform audits and remediation activities.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with discovery tools and third-party systems to automate CI population and updates.
