Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks. You will work closely with software and hardware engineering teams to automate testing for modern web applications and embedded/hardware-connected devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Framework Development: Design, develop, and scale end-to-end test automation frameworks from scratch using Python along with Pytest and/or Robot Framework.
• Web & UI Testing: Implement UI and functional automation tests using Playwright for web-based or companion device interfaces.
• Embedded Testing: Build and execute test suites for embedded systems, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments, or connected device firmware/software interactions.
• CI/CD Integration:



Integrate automated test suites into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
• API & System Testing: Create and execute automated API and integration tests to validate microservices, backend services, and device communication protocols.
• Defect Management: Analyze test execution logs and failure reports, log and track bugs, and collaborate with developers to root-cause issues.
• Mentorship & Process: Drive QA best practices, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior QA or automation engineers.

• Programming Languages: Solid proficiency in Python scripting and software development principles.
