We are looking for an experienced 3D Character Rigger to rig a stylized 3D female character in Blender for animation and facial motion capture.

The project requires a production-ready body and facial rig suitable for animated marketing films and long-term character use.

Responsibilities

* Create a clean, animation-ready body rig in Blender.
* Set up IK/FK controls for arms and legs, including full finger controls.
* Create facial rigging with 52 ARKit blendshapes as shape keys for iPhone-based facial motion capture.
* Add controls for eyes, eyelids, jaw, and facial expressions.
* Ensure the character deforms naturally around the shoulders, elbows, hands, and face.
* Ensure compatibility with FBX motion-capture retargeting from the Move One app.
* Optimize the rig for smooth viewport performance in Blender.
* Deliver organized source files with clearly named bones, controls, and shape keys.

Required Skills

* Proven experience in Blender character rigging.
* Robust knowledge of body deformation, skinning, and weight painting.




* Experience with facial blendshapes and ARKit facial motion capture.
* Familiarity with Rigify, Auto-Rig Pro, or equivalent rigging systems.
* Experience with motion-capture retargeting and FBX workflows.
* Ability to deliver clean, well-organized production files.
