At Malmal, we are looking for a UI/UX Specialist – E-commerce who can take ownership of our website experience and ensure it remains seamless, visually appealing and aligned with our premium brand identity.

We are looking for someone with a robust eye for design, an understanding of customer behaviour and the ability to identify and implement improvements to our existing website. The role involves continuously reviewing the website, identifying areas for improvement, making minor UI/UX changes wherever possible and coordinating with the development team for larger changes.

This is a hands-on role focused on improving and maintaining the website experience rather than designing an entire website from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

Website Experience & Usability

* Regularly review the website across desktop and mobile to ensure a smooth and consistent shopping experience.
* Identify usability issues, navigation challenges and areas where the customer journey can be improved.
* Review homepage layouts, collection pages, product pages, search, filters, cart and checkout experience.




* Ensure the website’s visual presentation is consistent with Malmal’s premium brand positioning.

UI/UX Improvements & Execution

* Identify and recommend practical improvements to website layouts, navigation, functionality and overall user experience.
* Implement minor UI/UX changes and website updates independently wherever feasible.
* Prepare basic wireframes, mock-ups or design recommendations when required.
* Coordinate with developers or the external website agency to implement larger changes and ensure timely execution.

E-commerce & Conversion Optimisation

* Identify potential friction points in product discovery, add-to-cart and checkout journeys.
* Work on improving the shopping experience and making the purchase journey simpler and more intuitive.
* Use website analytics, customer feedback and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
