Role Overview
The Business Relationship Officer (BRO) will be responsible for sourcing loan business from the open market through direct field activities. The role involves building and managing relationships with customers, channel partners, and referral sources to generate quality loan files in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
• Source loan applications from the open market through field visits and direct customer interactions.
• Generate leads for various loan products such as Business Loans, LAP.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and other referral partners.
• Conduct preliminary eligibility checks and collect complete documentation from customers.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan files before submission to the credit/operations team.
• Coordinate with internal teams to track loan processing and timely disbursement.
• Achieve assigned monthly/quarterly business targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, credit norms,



and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide regular market feedback, competitor insights, and customer trends to management.
Eligibility Criteria
• Minimum qualification: Graduate (any discipline preferred).
Experience:
• 1–5 years of experience in loan sourcing, field sales.
• Experience in NBFC, Bank, or Financial Services will be an added advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
• Solid field sales and negotiation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Sound knowledge of loan products and basic credit norms.
• Ability to work independently and handle field pressure.
• Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
