As part of its technology development strategy, Roofsol Energy intends to establish its own end-to-end solar monitoring ecosystem, including proprietary data loggers, IoT-based data acquisition systems, cloud infrastructure, and a centralized solar generation monitoring platform. The objective is to develop and own the underlying technology and Intellectual Property (IP), while ensuring reliable monitoring and management of a large portfolio of distributed solar projects across India.

Role Overview




Roofsol Energy is looking for an experienced technology skilled to lead the conceptualization, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of an in-house solar data logging and generation monitoring system.

Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy and Technology Development
· Define the technology roadmap for Roofsol Energy’s proprietary solar monitoring and data acquisition ecosystem.
· Lead the end-to-end development of the monitoring platform, from product architecture and prototype development to commercial deployment.
· Evaluate appropriate hardware, communication protocols, software frameworks, cloud technologies, and system architectures.
· Develop solutions suitable for both small rooftop solar installations and large distributed solar portfolios.
