We are looking for a detail-oriented Backoffice Account who will be responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate monthly invoicing of customers and the follow-up for collection of payments on due dates from clients on behalf of the company by the company's rules. He will also be responsible for answering and resolving client invoice-related concerns.

Back Office Accountant - Roles and responsibilities:
.Process a minimum of 20 vendor payments daily through UPI, as per company approval procedures.
.Maintain an Excel payment register with vendor names, amounts, dates, transaction references and payment purposes.
· Assist the sales and accounting department with the monthly invoicing process by reviewing customer invoices for timely submission.
· Contacting clients for transactions, invoices, and outstanding payments.
· Conducting follow-up with all clients, including those who do not pay on time,



to ensure timely payment collection.
· Submitting adjustment entries and following pending deductions processes to resolve invalid or unauthorized deductions.
· Preparing monthly feedback as well as financial reports on payment collections.
· Keeping records of all invoices and payments received and all correspondence with clients regarding payment collection, including short payments received, payment deductions without permission, and payment advice for payments received without notification.
· Serve as a liaison between the accounts department, the client, and the sales team, ensuring communication for any payments received, defaults, invoice certification and discrepancy, short payments, and deductions.
· Updating and maintaining accounting records including issued invoices, processed payments, recent balances, and customer contact information.
