Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support business development and trading activities in metals, scrap, aluminium, ferrous and non-ferrous commodities. The ideal candidate should have experience or an interest in B2B sales, industrial products, commodity trading, or import-export, along with robust communication, research, Excel and follow-up skills.

Key Responsibilities
• Support business development activities for metals, scrap, aluminium, ferrous and non-ferrous commodities.
• Identify, research and develop databases of potential customers, suppliers, traders and business partners.
• Segregate, organize and maintain customer and supplier databases using MS Excel.
• Conduct outreach through professional emails, telephone calls and regular follow-ups.
• Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs),



quotations, price comparison sheets and market research reports.
• Research commodity prices, market trends, suppliers and potential business opportunities.
• Coordinate and schedule customer and supplier meetings.
• Prepare meeting briefs, Minutes of Meeting (MoMs) and follow-up action points.
• Track enquiries, leads, quotations and follow-ups to ensure timely responses.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, principals and internal teams for smooth business operations.
• Support the team in developing new business opportunities and building long-term business relationships.

Required Skills
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and data management.
