Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Oracle XStore Developer for a freelance/contract engagement to develop, customize, integrate, and support Oracle XStore POS applications in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and customize Oracle XStore applications, including UI enhancements, configurations, locale changes, and extensions.
• Work with Oracle XStore Suite components: XStore, XAdmin, XCenter, XServices, XEnvironment, XMobile, and tablet solutions.
• Support XStore 23.x, POS deployments, upgrades, device configurations, and production releases.
• Develop and maintain integrations with inventory, order management, CRM, eCommerce, and payment systems.
• Implement payment integrations using EFTLink or AJB frameworks, including providers such as FreedomPay, SixPay, and Tender Retail.
• Develop and troubleshoot Oracle Database queries, PL/SQL code, REST APIs, and web services.
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, defect resolution,



code reviews, and production support.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, business analysts, and development teams in an Agile workplace.

Mandatory Skills
• Hands-on experience with Oracle XStore POS development and customization.
• Knowledge of XStore Suite components and preferably XStore version 23.x.
• Strong Oracle Database and PL/SQL skills.
• Experience with POS integrations, payment processing, and third-party systems.
• Experience with REST APIs, deployment activities, debugging, and production support.

Good to Have
• Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Java REST Services.
• React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Experience supporting large-scale retail store environments.
