Mvaak is an AI data services company specialising in egocentric (first-person) video data. We capture, process and deliver real-world datasets that AI labs, robotics teams and data partners use to train the next generation of multimodal and embodied AI models. We’re a lean, fast-moving team where early-career engineers get real ownership from day one.
Role Overview
We’re looking for an early-career Full Stack Developer who wants to learn fast and ship real features. You’ll help build the websites, partner portals and internal tools that power our data operations, from video uploads to collection tracking and dataset delivery. You’ll work alongside senior team members and grow quickly across frontend, backend and cloud.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain features for our website, partner portal and partnership inquiry flows
• Develop internal dashboards to track data collection, devices, contributors and delivery status
• Help build tools for uploading, reviewing and managing large video files
• Write APIs and work with databases that support our data pipelines
• Integrate third-party services (cloud storage, auth, email, analytics)
• Fix bugs, write clean code and document your work
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT or a related field (final-year students may apply)
• 0–2 years of experience, including internships, academic or personal projects
• Positive JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• Hands-on experience with React or Next.js
• Basic backend experience with Node.js or Python (FastAPI/Django)
• Understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and REST APIs
• Comfortable with Git and GitHub
• Curiosity, ownership and a willingness to learn quickly
Good to Have
• Experience with file or media uploads (e.g. AWS S3)
• Exposure to cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, Vercel) or Docker
• Familiarity with Supabase, Firebase or similar platforms
• Experience building admin panels or dashboards
