1. Job Purpose
To develop, review, and coordinate Plumbing, Public Health Engineering (PHE), and Fire Protection system designs for residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, statutory requirements, project specifications, and construction standards.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Public Health Engineering (PHE) Design
• Prepare design briefs and water demand calculations for residential and commercial developments.




• Perform fixture unit calculations, pipe sizing, and pump head calculations.
• Design domestic water supply, drainage, stormwater, rainwater harvesting, and solid waste management systems.
• Prepare schematic layouts for water supply and drainage systems.
• Design pump rooms and establish spatial requirements for PHE systems.
• Prepare plumbing specifications, material specifications, BOQs, GFC drawings, and working drawings.
• Develop designs for piped gas and HSD systems, wherever applicable.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, structural teams, and other MEP disciplines to resolve design interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with applicable NBC provisions, CMWSSB requirements, Groundwater Department regulations, MOEF requirements, and other relevant local authorities.
