ABOUT THE ROLE
To manage all store operations including receipt, storage, inventory control,
line feeding, and issue of materials, ensuring uninterrupted production support, inventory accuracy, optimum stock levels, and compliance with automotive quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stores Operations Management
• Oversee receipt, storage, preservation, and issue of raw materials, components, consumables, and packing materials.
• Ensure proper material identification, traceability, and storage practices.
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO compliance across all inventory categories.
• Monitor daily store operations and material movements.
2. Inventory Management
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting and periodic stock audits.
• Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages, excess inventory, and obsolescence.
• Coordinate with Production Planning and Purchase teams for inventory optimization.
• Ensure inventory reconciliation between physical stock and ERP records.
