ABOUT THE ROLE
To ensure maximum equipment availability, reliability,
and efficiency of manufacturing operations through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. The role is responsible for maintaining plant machinery, utilities, and infrastructure while driving continuous improvement, cost optimization, and safety compliance in an automotive manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plant & Equipment Maintenance
• Plan, execute, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Ensure minimum machine downtime and maximum equipment uptime.
• Lead breakdown analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor machine health and reliability parameters.
2. Production Support
• Ensure continuous support to production for uninterrupted manufacturing.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams for maintenance planning.
• Attend critical machine breakdowns and ensure quick restoration.
