responsibilities:

- Extensive experience designing, building, and operating production Node.js services in TypeScript

- Deep understanding of the Node.js runtime, including event-loop behavior, profiling, and performance tuning

- Experience designing event-driven systems with Kafka: partitioning, ordering guarantees, idempotent processing, dead-letter queues

- Experience with zero-downtime database schema migrations and query/connection-pool tuning under load

- Experience with distributed tracing and observability (OpenTelemetry, Datadog), including defining SLOs and error budgets

- Strong knowledge of API security, including OWASP API Top 10 and OAuth2/OIDC flows

- Experience leading technical design and incident response for services in production

- Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable,and efficient code.

- Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.

- Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related
field.

- 5+ years of
experience as a backend or full-stack developer with a focus
on Node.js.

- Strong
knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js, with
experience in building RESTful APIs. Familiarity with
frameworks such as Express.js or Koa.

- Experience
with databases (SQL and NoSQL), such as PostgreSQL,
MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.

- Understanding
of server-side templating languages, front-end
technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and frameworks
(React, Angular, or Vue.js). Knowledge of version
control systems, such as Git.

- Experience
with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and
containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Robust
problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced
environment.
