Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Interior Design 2D Draughtsman to convert interior design concepts and 3D visualizations into accurate, comprehensive, execution-ready technical drawings. The candidate will work closely with our designers, 3D visualizers, project managers, and site teams to ensure that every design is translated into clear, practical, and technically sound drawings.

Key Responsibilities

1. 2D Technical Drawings

- Prepare detailed 2D drawings for residential and luxury interior projects.

- Develop floor plans, furniture layouts, partition layouts, reflected ceiling plans, electrical layouts, lighting layouts, flooring layouts, and wall elevations.

- Prepare detailed sections, joinery drawings, furniture drawings, and enlarged details wherever required.

- Create execution drawings for kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, TV units, beds, storage units, and other bespoke furniture.

- Prepare door schedules, material layouts, and other technical documentation as required.

2. Design-to-Execution Coordination

- Translate approved 3D visualizations, design concepts, and mood boards into technically accurate 2D drawings.

- Ensure consistency between 3D designs,



2D drawings, material specifications, and site requirements.

- Coordinate with the interior design team to resolve technical discrepancies before drawings are issued for execution.

- Incorporate design revisions and maintain updated drawing versions.

3. Site and Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate with site engineers, carpenters, contractors, and vendors to clarify drawing details.

- Review site measurements and existing conditions before finalizing drawings.

- Assist in resolving technical issues encountered during execution.

- Ensure drawings are practical, dimensionally accurate, and suitable for execution in office.

4. Quality Control and Documentation

- Check dimensions, levels, alignments, annotations, and drawing references before submission.

- Maintain organized project folders and drawing revisions.

- Ensure drawings follow company standards and are delivered within agreed timelines.

- Identify potential design clashes or execution challenges and communicate them proactively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Drafting, or a related field.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

- Strong understanding of interior design drawings, dimensions, scales, sections, elevations, and construction detailing.





- Knowledge of modular furniture, carpentry, false ceilings, lighting, electrical layouts, and interior materials.

- Ability to interpret 3D visualizations and translate them into accurate technical drawings.

- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a quick-paced design environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on premium residential or luxury interior projects.

- Familiarity with SketchUp, 3ds Max, or other 3D visualization tools.

- Understanding of material specifications, joinery details, and site execution practices.

- Experience coordinating with contractors, carpenters, and site engineers.

- Minimal errors, omissions, and discrepancies in issued drawings.
