- Conduct in-depth research on current fashion trends to anticipate our consumer preferences.
- Design detailed illustrations and sketches for current products based on market research.
- Develop clothing patterns/drafts suitable for mass production.
- Source fabric and other raw materials required for bulk production of the respective garment..
- Test, and select appropriate fabrics, colors, patterns, and textures for each design.
- Identify and collaborate with the most suitable contract manufacturers.
- Supervise the production process, including fittings and cost price determination (final cost sheet).
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and models.
- Manage the prototype sample process from inception to completion.
- Should be able to develop the sample of the finalised product in-house, and as fast as possible. (if you carry stitching skills, you’ll be given preferences )
- Work closely with the content team to create cohesive mood boards.
- Prepare detailed cost sheets and product lists.
- Collaborate with the media team to produce visually appealing content.
