Gomathi Fashion Institute is looking for a skilled, creative, and passionate Fashion Designing Trainer to train students in fashion design and practical garment-making skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach fashion designing fundamentals, colour theory, and fashion illustration.
- Train students in stitching, cutting, pattern making, and garment construction.
- Teach fabric knowledge, measurements, and garment finishing.
- Conduct hands-on practical sessions using sewing machines and other equipment.
- Guide students through fashion design projects and portfolio development.
- Help develop and implement structured 3-month and 6-month courses.
- Assess student progress and maintain practical training standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Fashion Designing or a related field.
- Solid practical knowledge of stitching, cutting, and pattern making.
- Good communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to teach beginners from scratch.
- Previous teaching or industry experience preferred.
Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
