- About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Head of Sales with a strong background in the furniture manufacturing industry, preferably in solid wood furniture, engineered wood, hospitality furniture, home furniture, or furniture exports. The candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, expanding domestic and international markets, building long-term client relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
- Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual revenue and profitability targets.
- Lead and manage domestic and international sales teams.
- Develop new business opportunities across furniture retailers, wholesalers, importers, distributors, hospitality groups, interior designers, architects, and project procurement companies.
- Build and maintain relationships with international buyers, OEM/ODM clients, and key accounts.
- Drive furniture exports and develop new markets across the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and other potential regions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, client meetings, quotations, negotiations, order confirmation, and repeat business.
- Coordinate with production, design, merchandising, purchase, and logistics teams to ensure timely order execution.
- Understand furniture manufacturing processes, materials, finishes, product costing, quality standards, and production capabilities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer meetings to generate business.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, MIS reports, and business development plans.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, healthy margins, and long-term business growth.
- Candidate Profile & EligibilityMandatory preference:



Candidates with a proven skilled background in the furniture manufacturing industry.
- 10–15+ years of experience in sales and business development, preferably with a furniture manufacturer or furniture exporter.
- Experience handling B2B sales, institutional sales, hospitality projects, retail chains, or international export accounts.
- Strong understanding of furniture products such as solid wood furniture, dining tables, beds, cabinets, wardrobes, hospitality furniture, and related categories.
- Experience in international markets, export documentation, pricing, and commercial negotiations will be an advantage.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to work closely with manufacturing and production teams to convert customer requirements into commercially viable orders.
