HK Industries is seeking a highly skilled CNC/VMC Programmer to lead the programming and setup operations in our precision machining workshop. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between engineering drawings and shop floor execution, ensuring optimal cycle times and flawless part production.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop, prepare, and optimize CNC/VMC programs for precision machining components.
● Create comprehensive setup sheets and work instructions for the shop floor.
● Conduct cycle time optimization to maximize production efficiency without compromising quality.
● Perform program prove-outs on the machines to verify accuracy and safety.
● Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting,
and guidance to CNC/VMC operators and setters.
Required Skills & Knowledge
● Expertise in CNC programming, specifically with Fanuc and/or Siemens controllers.
● Robust foundation in tooling selection, fixture planning, and calculating optimal speeds and feeds.
● Advanced ability to independently read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.;
