About the Company:

TSR Oil has been manufacturing groundnut oil in Salem since 1986. We produce TSR Groundnut Oil and groundnut cake for cattle feed.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Electrician who can handle electrical maintenance, troubleshoot machine breakdowns, and supervise daily production activities at our groundnut oil mill. The candidate should have practical knowledge of industrial electrical systems and the ability to manage workers and ensure smooth production.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance:

- Maintain and repair electrical systems, motors, starters, control panels, wiring, and lighting.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults quickly and minimise machine downtime.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
- Maintain essential electrical spare parts such as contactors, relays, and fuses.
- Monitor power consumption and power factor.
- Ensure electrical safety, proper earthing, and secure working practices.

Production and Team Management

- Supervise daily production activities and manage workers on the factory floor.
- Plan shifts and allocate workers to machines.
- Maintain daily production records, including groundnut processed, oil and cake produced, and machine downtime.
- Monitor oil recovery and identify reasons for any reduction.




- Train workers in safe machine operation.
- Maintain workplace discipline and cleanliness.

Eligibility Criteria:

- ITI Electrician or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (EEE).
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an electrician in a factory, mill, or manufacturing unit.
- Hands-on experience with three-phase motors, DOL and star-delta starters, and electrical control panels.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults using a multimeter, clamp meter, and megger.
- Fluency in Tamil.
- Must be living in or near Salem, or willing to relocate and settle in Salem.
- Comfortable working in a factory environment with heat, dust, noise, and rotating shifts.
- Willing to attend to machine breakdowns when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Wireman Competency Certificate from the Tamil Nadu Electrical Licensing Board.
- Experience managing a shift, team, or factory workers.
- Working knowledge of Hindi.
- At least two years of experience in a single previous organisation.
