Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Civil Site Engineer to supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that work is executed as per approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and timelines while coordinating with labour, contractors, vendors, and the project management team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
2. Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
3. Manage and coordinate labour, subcontractors, Client, and material suppliers.
4. Monitor the quality of construction work and ensure compliance with required standards.
5. Check material requirements, maintain stock records, and ensure proper utilisation of materials.
6. Monitor daily work progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
7. Read and interpret civil engineering drawings, layouts, and construction details.
8. Take site measurements and maintain daily progress reports, labour records, and measurement sheets.
9. Coordinate with senior engineers, clients, consultants, and other site personnel.
10. Identify site issues, resolve routine technical problems, and report major issues to the management.
11. Ensure proper implementation of site safety procedures and maintain housekeeping at the site.
12. Prepare daily work plans and report progress,



material requirements, and site-related issues to management.

Required Technical Knowledge

- Basic knowledge of civil construction activities, including excavation, PCC, RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, flooring, and finishing works.
- Ability to read and understand civil drawings, structural drawings, and construction layouts.
- Basic knowledge of quantity estimation, material calculations, and site measurements.
- Understanding of concrete work, reinforcement detailing, bar bending schedules (BBS), and construction quality checks.
- Knowledge of construction materials, their usage, and basic quality requirements.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and preparation of daily progress reports.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD for viewing and understanding drawings will be an advantage.
- Awareness of construction safety practices and site management procedures.

Eligibility and Skills

- Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
- Willingness to work full-time at project sites and travel as required.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage labour and handle day-to-day site responsibilities independently.
- Disciplined, punctual, proactive, and focused on quality and timely execution.
