Job Description – Ambulance Driver

Location: Kovaipudur, Coimbatore

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month

- Job ResponsibilitiesDrive the ambulance safely to transport patients to hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities.
- Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency patient transportation requests.
- Assist patients with boarding and exiting the ambulance, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Coordinate with healthcare staff and caregivers during patient transfers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the ambulance.
- Check the vehicle regularly to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Monitor fuel levels and report any vehicle maintenance or repair requirements.
- Follow traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, patient transfers, and vehicle usage.




- RequirementsPrevious driving experience in any type of vehicle is required.
- A valid driving licence is mandatory.
- Experience driving an ambulance or working in a hospital or healthcare setting will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of local routes in and around Coimbatore.
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to remain calm and act responsibly in emergency situations.
- Good communication skills and a patient-friendly attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
