Job Description - Helen O'Grady International Creative Education Academy is looking for enthusiastic and responsible Drama Mentors / Speech and Drama Teachers to deliver a structured drama curriculum and support children's creative development through theatre, communication, voice, movement and improvisation.

The selected candidates will conduct engaging classroom sessions, prepare lesson plans, maintain academic records and help students prepare for stage performances and productions.

Key Responsibilities -

1. Deliver the prescribed Speech and Drama curriculum effectively.
2. Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids and classroom resources in advance.
3. Maintain attendance records, daily reports, lesson trackers and academic documentation.
4. Assign worksheets and conduct student assessments within the prescribed deadlines.
5. Create a safe, organised and engaging classroom setting.
6. Coordinate with school representatives, parents and the senior training team.
7. Participate in parent-teacher meetings, orientations and student demonstrations.
8. Prepare students for rehearsals, stage performances and productions.
9. Assist with scripts, costumes, props, stage arrangements, music and audio cues.
10. Maintain classroom photographs and submit required academic updates and reports.

Attend mandatory training sessions, meetings, rehearsals and organisational events.
12. Complete assigned responsibilities on time and maintain professional communication.

• Good English communication skills

• Interest in drama, theatre, acting or performing arts

• Good classroom management and interpersonal skills

• Creativity and confidence in engaging with children

• Planning, organisation and time management

• Willingness to learn and participate in training

• Ability to work collaboratively with schools, parents and colleagues

• Professional attitude and a sense of responsibility

Eligibility

• Candidates interested in teaching, drama, theatre, performing arts or working with children may apply.

• Candidates should have good communication skills and an interest in creative education.

• Willingness to undergo training and develop teaching and performance skills is essential.

Work Requirements• Full-time position

• Work at assigned schools and centres

• Willingness to travel between assigned locations

• Participation in rehearsals, events and performances as required

• Arrival at the assigned class 30 minutes before the scheduled session
