About The Growth Monks The Growth Monks is a digital marketing agency focused on creating impactful digital experiences and performance-driven marketing campaigns. We work with brands across industries to create engaging content that captures attention, builds brand value, and drives results.

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who understands storytelling, audience attention, and the art of turning raw footage into engaging video content.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit engaging Instagram Reels, promotional videos, advertisements, and other social media content.
- Create strong opening hooks that capture viewers’ attention within the first few seconds.
- Understand video pacing, storytelling, transitions, and visual flow to maintain audience engagement.
- Select and synchronize background music, sound effects, and audio according to the mood and message of the video.
- Create engaging captions, text animations, motion graphics, and visual effects wherever required.
- Edit marketing and advertising creatives with a focus on audience retention and campaign objectives.
- Perform basic colour correction, audio balancing, and final video quality checks.
- Collaborate with the marketing, creative, and content teams to understand briefs and deliver high-quality videos.
- Manage raw footage, project files, revisions, and deadlines efficiently.




- Stay updated with the latest video editing styles, social media trends, and creative formats.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 1–2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent professional editing software.
- Strong understanding of hooks, storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.
- Good knowledge of background music selection, sound design, and beat synchronization.
- Ability to create engaging captions, transitions, and basic motion graphics.
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, short-form video content, and digital advertising creatives.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and visual sense.
- Ability to understand creative briefs, accept feedback, and meet deadlines.
- A strong portfolio showcasing previous editing work is mandatory.
