Role Description The Video Editor role at Royal Desi is a full-time hybrid position based in Delhi, India, with flexibility for some work-from-home.

The Video

Editor will plan, edit, and produce video content for social media, campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling, including behind-the-scenes footage of the kitchen, farmers, and production processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, syncing audio, color grading, and adding motion graphics and titles to create engaging, on-brand videos. The role also involves collaborating with the content,



marketing, and founding teams to develop concepts, maintain a consistent visual style, and optimize videos for multiple platforms and formats.

The Video

Editor is expected to manage project timelines, organize media assets, and continuously experiment with new formats and trends that fit Royal Desi’s values and audience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing to handle end-to-end creation of digital video content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual tone across all brand videos.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, simple animations, and branded visual elements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing.
- Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, reels/shorts).
- Ability to work in office in Delhi for shoots and collaboration while effectively managing tasks in a hybrid work setup.
- Prior experience in food, consumer brands, or D2C content is an advantage; familiarity with Indian snack culture is a plus.
