About the role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical Business Analyst to support business and product development initiatives. You’ll gather requirements, analyze processes and data, prepare functional documentation, and coordinate with business, product, technology, and operations teams.

This role is suited to someone with a solid foundation in business analysis who enjoys turning business needs into clear, actionable solutions. Experience in a startup or other fast-paced environment is preferred.

What you’ll do

- Gather, analyze, and document requirements from stakeholders and internal teams.
- Work with product, technology, and operations teams to translate business needs into functional requirements.
- Prepare and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
- Analyze business data in Excel to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Help prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Support product development by clarifying requirements and coordinating with technical teams.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate deliverables against requirements.
- Maintain documentation of business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend ways to improve efficiency.

What you’ll bring





- 1–2 years of experience in Business Analysis or a closely related role.
- An understanding of requirement gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and data analysis.
- Familiarity with BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
- Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

- Experience in a startup, IT services, software development, or product-based organization.
- Basic knowledge of Power BI or another business intelligence tool.
- Exposure to UAT, functional testing, or product development.
- An understanding of business operations and technology workflows.

Education A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required. An MBA or relevant Business Analysis certification is an advantage.
