- Production & High Availability: Ensure 24x7 operational reliability, load balancing, failover, and disaster recovery.
- Upgrades & Database Management: Direct major LMS platform migrations and manage PostgreSQL databases (replication, tuning, backup).
- Architecture & Security: Evolve multi-tier hosting environments, strengthen platform security, and implement monitoring and automation.
- Technical Leadership: Coordinate cross-functionally with infrastructure/application teams and mentor system operations staff.
Required Skills
- Technical Stack: Linux web environments | PostgreSQL administration | Scripting/Automation | Web servers & reverse proxies.
- Preferred Tech: Ruby on Rails, Redis, Nginx, HAProxy, and enterprise LMS platforms.
