1000 project personnel at site and person to be hired for Plant Operation producing 7.5 MT of Aluminium Extrusion.
- Job Context & Major Challenges:
Job Context Hindalco is proposing to set up a recent extrusion facility to manufacture specialized Aluminium extrusion product for electronics, automotive, industrial machinery etc. The total envisaged capacity is 7.5 KT. The project is proposed to be co-located at existing Extrusion Facility at Kuppam, Chittor district of Andhra Pradesh.
The Kuppam facility is being developed as a hub for specialized aluminium alloy extrusions to cater to key market segments such as electronics, automotive, industrial machinery, and consumer durables The project will require key equipment like Induction Melting Furnace, Electric Holding Furnace, Electric Homogenising Furnaces, DC Casting, 9” Extrusion Press, Ageing Ovens, Fabrication and Cutting Machines, Electrolytic Degreasing and other related material handling & utility systems.
Job Challenges
There are no basic safety infrastructure at the site. The necessary infrastructure need to be conceived and erected.

Supporting Actions Lead a team in recruiting the manpower required for Greenfield site as well as for manning the plant. Interact with internal resources and external consultants to get the right manpower for the Project as well as future manning of plant.
Develop necessary protocols for recruitment and induction for seamless joining of the incumbent into the desired position.
Develop & implement a training plan for recruits so as to enable them to man the plant in a short span.
In consultation with the OEM, project execution team and experts (internal & external) develop necessary training programs for the inducted manpower.
Implement classroom and on the job training programs for quickly develop the necessary resources
Maintaining the necessary statutory records.
Coordinaation with Labor department / ESI Department & PF Department.
Develop protocols to maintain necessary statutory records.
Coordinate with various government bodies to maintain necessary data / records.
Prepare for audit or other verification as needed at appropriate time.
Ensure cordial IR relationship during the Greenfield project execution.
Develop necessary protocols to have a smooth Industrial relation
Identify the critical stake holder and manage the aspirations.
Develop an administration structure for Greenfield site.
Develop necessary administrative protocols required for the Project and future plant.
