Role Description The Study Abroad Advisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The advisor will guide students through the process of identifying suitable international programs, scholarships, and grants, and help them understand admission requirements, timelines, and eligibility criteria. Daily responsibilities include conducting detailed profile assessments, providing individualized counseling,



and recommending best-fit universities and programs aligned with students’ academic goals and financial circumstances.

The advisor will assist with application documentation, scholarship forms, and visa-related guidance, while coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of global education trends, building relationships with institutional partners, and delivering transparent communication via in-person meetings, calls, and online sessions.

Qualifications

- Strong Educational Consulting and general Consulting skills to advise students on program selection, admissions pathways, and funding options.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Communication abilities to provide clear guidance, build trust, and conduct effective one-on-one counseling sessions.
- Working knowledge of Visas and international admission procedures to support students with application and pre-departure processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, international relations, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Experience in study abroad advising, academic counseling, or higher education services is highly beneficial.
- Ability to organize multiple student cases, manage deadlines, and maintain accurate records in digital systems.
- Comfort with using online platforms, CRM tools, and video conferencing for student interactions and documentation.
- Commitment to equitable access to education, cultural sensitivity, and a student-centric approach.
