We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to independently manage accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have robust accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with Tally ERP and Advanced Excel, and excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with government departments, external professionals, and our overseas branch.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounting entries, ledger scrutiny, and maintenance of accurate financial records.
- Handle GST compliance, including preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns.
- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, return filing, and related documentation.
- Perform regular bank, vendor, customer, and other account reconciliations.
- Record and verify purchase, sales, expense, and journal entries in Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Manage vendor payments, customer collections, payment gateway settlements, and related accounting entries.




- Monitor inventory accounting, cash flow, outstanding payments, and receivables.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and other periodic accounting reports.
- Coordinate with government departments, Chartered Accountants, auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders regarding accounting, taxation, and compliance matters.
- Coordinate with the company's overseas branch regarding accounting records, financial transactions, documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure timely statutory compliance, accurate documentation, and adherence to applicable accounting and tax regulations.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure the timely completion of financial activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce, export, trading, or a related industry.
- Graduate in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, GST, and TDS compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel / Advanced Excel, with mandatory knowledge of VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP.
- Practical experience in bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, payment processing, and financial reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional coordination with government departments, external stakeholders, and the company's overseas branch.
- Ability to communicate professionally through email, telephone, and virtual meetings.
- Strong coordination, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with a CA firm or handling export-related accounting will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate

Mumbai-based candidates who can commute daily to Byculla West and Immediate joiners will be preferred for this role.
