Traditional Wrestlings Association India (TWAI) is looking for a creative, proactive and enthusiastic Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern to support the promotion of Kushti Ka Mahasangram 2027, a national traditional wrestling event scheduled for 5–7 January 2027 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.

The intern will help build the event's digital presence through social media content, short-form video editing, creative design, audience engagement and outreach to athletes, wrestling clubs, akharas and relevant sports communities.

This is an opportunity to gain practical experience in sports marketing, event promotion, digital branding and community building by working on a national-level sporting event.

Internship type: Unpaid internship, subject to applicable requirements

Duration: Initial 4-week period, with possible extension by mutual agreement

Work arrangement: Remote

Time commitment: Approximately 2–3 hours per day, to be agreed upon in advance

Responsibilities

- Assist in managing and growing the event's Instagram and other relevant social media platforms.
- Create and schedule engaging posts, Stories, promotional creatives and short-form videos.
- Edit Reels using existing wrestling footage and other approved media assets.
- Help develop weekly content calendars and campaign ideas.
- Write clear, engaging captions in Hindi and/or English.
- Research relevant sports pages, wrestling clubs, akharas, athletes and content creators.
- Assist with personalised outreach to potential participants, sports communities and media contacts.
- Monitor post performance, engagement, reach and audience enquiries.
- Maintain a basic record of content published, outreach completed and campaign results.




- Coordinate with the organising team to ensure all event information is accurate and approved before publication.

Qualifications
- Interest in social media, digital marketing, sports promotion or content creation.
- Basic understanding of Instagram, Facebook and/or YouTube.
- Familiarity with Canva and/or video editing tools such as CapCut, VN or similar applications.
- Positive written communication skills in Hindi or English.
- Creativity, reliability, willingness to learn and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet mutually agreed deadlines and communicate regularly with the team.
- Knowledge of wrestling, traditional sports or sports communities is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Students, freshers and beginners with a strong interest in digital media are welcome to apply.
