Role Description The Senior Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for overseeing end-to-end production operations. This role includes planning and scheduling production, monitoring daily output, and ensuring that product quality and safety standards are consistently met.

The Senior Production

Manager will supervise production teams, coordinate with maintenance, logistics, and quality control, and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime. The role also involves managing raw material usage, maintaining compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements, and preparing production reports and performance metrics. Collaboration with senior leadership on capacity planning, cost control,



and strategic initiatives is a key part of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong production management skills, including production planning, process optimization, and workflow coordination.
- Candidates should possess expertise in quality control and safety management, with the ability to enforce standards for lime and mineral product manufacturing.
- Candidates should possess team leadership and people management skills, including supervising staff, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
- Candidates should possess operational and analytical skills, such as data-driven decision-making, reporting, cost monitoring, and problem-solving.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of industrial equipment and maintenance coordination, particularly within mineral and lime manufacturing environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Management, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in production or plant management, preferably in lime, cement, minerals, or related heavy industry.
- Ability to work on-site in Surat, collaborate across departments, and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
