Role Description The Senior Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end PCB design, from concept to production-ready layouts, for complex, high-performance electronic systems. Day-to-day tasks include schematic capture, board layout, component selection, and optimization for signal integrity, power distribution, and manufacturability. The role involves close collaboration with hardware, firmware, and AI engineering teams to integrate designs with OPENCE’s AI-driven workflows and validate performance on physical prototypes.

The engineer will review and refine designs for analog and RF performance, perform design-for-manufacturing and design-for-test analyses, and support bring-up and debugging in the lab. This is a contract,



on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering, with expertise in Circuit Design and practical experience across analog domains.
- Proficiency in Board Layout, including multilayer PCB design, high-speed routing, and adherence to design-for-manufacturing and design-for-assembly guidelines.
- Hands-on experience with Radio Frequency (RF) design, including layout techniques for RF circuits, impedance control, and signal integrity considerations.
- Relevant experience with industry-standard PCB CAD tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence Allegro, KiCad), schematic capture, and library management.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a lab environment, including prototype bring-up, hardware debugging, and use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, VNAs, and spectrum analyzers.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and substantial experience in PCB design for commercial or industrial products.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams on-site.
- Experience in automation, design tools, or AI-assisted engineering workflows is a plus.
