Role Description The Senior Chartered Accountant role is a full time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, statutory compliance, and audit coordination, ensuring accuracy in books of accounts and adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Accountant will manage taxation matters, including direct and indirect tax planning, filing, and assessments, and support internal controls and risk management processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, supervising junior finance team members, analyzing financial performance, preparing management reports, and providing insights to support decision-making.



The role also includes close collaboration with leadership, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to maintain strong governance and compliance standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong accounting and financial reporting skills, including expertise in preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with applicable standards.
- Candidates should possess robust taxation and compliance skills, with experience in direct and indirect tax matters, regulatory filings, and adherence to NBFC-related guidelines.
- Candidates should possess skills in audit, internal controls, and risk management, including coordinating statutory and internal audits and implementing control improvements.
- Candidates should possess analytical and financial planning skills to interpret financial data, prepare management reports, and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Candidates should possess strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to guide junior team members and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in NBFCs, banking, or financial services.
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP software, advanced MS Excel skills, and familiarity with technology-driven finance environments.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, maintain high ethical standards, and handle responsibilities with accuracy and attention to detail.
