Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and technical teams to understand business needs and define requirements.
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discussions with business and client teams.
- Analyze, validate, prioritize, and document business and functional requirements.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable requirements for development and technical teams.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve requirement-related issues, and ensure timely clarification and sign-off.
- Identify gaps between current-state and future-state processes and recommend process improvements.
- Support solution discussions, impact analysis, requirement traceability, and change management activities.
- Work closely with QA/testing teams to define test scenarios, validate business functionality, and support UAT.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming/refinement, demos, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies where applicable.
- Track requirement changes and ensure alignment across business, product, development, and testing teams.
- Support project documentation, status reporting, risk identification, and dependency management.
- Interact with US clients and stakeholders across different time zones when required.
- Support client workshops,



presentations, and business discussions during project delivery and implementation.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- 5–8 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT/software product or services environments.
- Strong experience in business requirement gathering, requirement analysis, documentation, and validation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work with business and technical teams.
- Prior experience working with US clients, US-based projects, or US business environments is mandatory/preferred based on project requirements.
- Strong understanding of business processes, functional requirements, and end-to-end project lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to analyze complex business problems and translate them into clear requirements and actionable solutions.
- Robust verbal and written communication skills, including client-facing communication.

Good to Have

- B1 Visa is an added advantage, especially for candidates who may be required to travel to the US for business or client engagements.
- Experience in client-facing roles involving US stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with Jira or similar requirement/project management tools.
- Knowledge of SQL, APIs, data analysis, or basic technical concepts.
- Experience with process modeling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent.
- Experience in UAT coordination and business validation.
