We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale the core services powering a fast-growing B2B marketplace. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance APIs and highly reliable system architectures.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services and APIs.
- Own backend features from technical design through development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Build systems that support marketplace, commerce, payments, inventory, and other core business workflows.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and system reliability as the platform scales.




- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party services and external APIs.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and improve backend engineering practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and production-ready code.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and other engineering teams to deliver end-to-end features.

- 4–5 years of hands-on backend engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, Java, or a similar backend language.
- Robust experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and database design.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, performance, and reliability.
