Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance & Controlling Architect with strong expertise in SAP Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), end-to-end SAP implementation, and SAP BTP extensibility.

The candidate will independently lead implementation activities from discovery and blueprinting through design, configuration, data migration, integration, testing, and deployment. The role requires hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, banking integrations, financial processes, and extensions using SAP BTP.

Key Responsibilities1. SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling

- Lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance and Controlling modules.
- Design and implement financial processes covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, bank accounting, and financial closing.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into standard SAP business processes.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA On-Premise is an added advantage.

2. SAP Activate Methodology & Implementation

- Drive the SAP Activate methodology independently across all phases, from Discover and Prepare through Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run.
- Lead discovery sessions, requirement gathering, fit-to-standard workshops, and business process design discussions.
- Conduct workshops based on the scope items identified during the discovery phase.
- Demonstrate standard business processes to clients using the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Starter System.
- Lead blueprinting and solution design sessions independently and prepare the required functional and technical documentation.

3. SAP BTP & Extensibility





- Design and implement side-by-side extensions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Work on in-app extensibility within SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Identify appropriate extension approaches based on business requirements and SAP clean-core principles.
- Collaborate with technical and integration teams to deploy extensions and ensure seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA.

4. Data Migration

- Lead finance data migration from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Plan and execute migration of opening balances, general ledger balances, customer and vendor balances, and other relevant financial data.
- Validate migrated data and ensure financial accuracy and reconciliation between source and target systems.

5. Banking & Financial Integrations

- Design and support banking integrations for automated payment processing and bank communication.
- Configure or coordinate bank file generation and payment file interfaces.
- Support SWIFT-based bank-to-bank transfers and related payment integration processes.
- Implement and support bank statement processing and automated bank reconciliation.
- Troubleshoot banking interface issues and ensure accurate financial postings.

6. Stakeholder Management & Technical Leadership

- Work closely with finance stakeholders, business users, project managers, and technical teams.
- Independently manage workshops,



solution discussions, and client demonstrations.
- Provide architectural guidance, resolve complex implementation issues, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.
- Support testing, cutover planning, deployment, and post-go-live activities.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in SAP, with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.
- Robust understanding of SAP FI/CO processes and financial business requirements.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end SAP implementation projects using SAP Activate methodology.
- Ability to independently conduct discovery workshops, fit-to-standard sessions, blueprinting, and solution design.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Starter System and client demonstrations.
- Practical knowledge of SAP BTP, side-by-side extensions, and in-app extensibility.
- Experience with legacy-to-SAP financial data migration, including opening and closing balances.
- Knowledge of banking integrations, payment file generation, SWIFT transfers, and bank reconciliation.
- Strong client-facing communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA On-Premise implementations.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP integration capabilities and APIs.
- Experience with financial integration scenarios involving external banking systems.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance or SAP BTP certifications.
