Role Description The Research Professor role at K L University is a full-time, on-site position based in Andhra Pradesh, India. The individual in this role will lead and conduct high-quality research, design and manage research projects, and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and reputable conference proceedings. Daily responsibilities include supervising research scholars and students, securing external and internal research funding, collaborating with industry and academic partners, and contributing to the development of research facilities and laboratories.

The Research

Professor will also participate in curriculum enrichment, mentor junior faculty, engage in academic committees,



and support the university’s vision of integrating research with teaching and community impact. Active participation in seminars, workshops, and outreach activities is expected to strengthen the university’s research profile.

Qualifications

- Doctoral degree (PhD) in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution, with a strong record of research publications in indexed journals with minimum h-index 25 (as per Scopus).
- Proven experience in designing, executing, and managing independent and collaborative research projects, including proposal writing and grant acquisition.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor research scholars and postgraduate students, fostering a rigorous and supportive research environment.
- Robust analytical, critical thinking, and academic writing skills, with proficiency in presenting complex ideas clearly in written and oral formats.
- Experience with appropriate research methodologies, data analysis tools, and relevant software or laboratory techniques in the candidate’s field.
- Commitment to ethical research practices, academic integrity, and adherence to institutional and regulatory guidelines.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and engage with industry or community partners.
- Prior experience in curriculum development, academic administration, or participation in academic committees is an advantage.
- International exposure, patents, funded projects, or recognitions such as awards and fellowships will be considered beneficial.
