Role Description The Quality Engineer role at ZETWERK is a full-time, on-site position based in Gundardehi. This role is responsible for monitoring and improving product and process quality across manufacturing operations, including performing inspections, audits, and root-cause analyses for nonconformities.

The Quality

Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and documentation, and collaborate closely with production, design, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues. Daily activities include reviewing quality metrics, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, supporting customer quality requirements, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.



The role also involves driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting training on quality practices, and contributing to the implementation of best-in-class quality systems.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Quality Engineering and Quality Management to design, implement, and optimize robust quality systems and processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Control to plan, execute, and monitor inspections, audits, and compliance with standards.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Product Quality to evaluate, validate, and improve product performance and reliability throughout the production lifecycle.
- Candidates should be familiar with relevant quality tools and methodologies, such as root-cause analysis, CAPA, statistical process control (SPC), and continuous improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in using quality-related software and documentation systems.
- Candidates should demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and suppliers, and be comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- A degree in engineering or a related technical field, and prior experience in manufacturing or industrial quality roles, is preferred; relevant certifications in quality or Six Sigma are an advantage.
