Role Description The PRT-English role is a full-time, in office position based at Gurukul The School in Ghaziabad. The educator will teach English to primary grade learners, design and deliver engaging lesson plans, and develop activities that build strong language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Daily responsibilities include assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records, and supporting differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.





The role involves collaborating with colleagues, participating in school events and professional development, communicating regularly with parents/guardians, and contributing to a positive, value-driven classroom environment aligned with the school’s philosophy.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong English Teaching skills, with the ability to design age-appropriate, engaging lessons for primary students.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Candidates should possess Translation and language support skills to help learners bridge gaps in understanding when needed.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Training skills to provide supportive guidance to learners and collaborate in staff development initiatives.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; a B.Ed or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
- Experience teaching English at the primary level, familiarity with child-centric and activity-based learning, and the ability to integrate values and life skills into lessons.
- Strong classroom management skills, proficiency in basic educational technology, and commitment to continuous professional growth.
