Role Description The Proposal Manager – Water Treatment is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end proposal and bidding process for water and wastewater treatment projects, including utility water, process water, effluent treatment, and reuse systems. Day-to-day activities include reviewing tender documents, coordinating with technical, sales, and operations teams to develop competitive technical and commercial proposals, and ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

The Proposal

Manager will prepare cost estimations, solution outlines, and supporting documentation, while maintaining accurate records of opportunities, proposals, and outcomes.



The role also involves client communication during the proposal stage, supporting negotiations, and contributing to continuous improvement in proposal quality and win rates.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid technical skills in Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment, including understanding of treatment processes, system design basics, and applicable standards.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Water Supply systems, utility water requirements, and industrial water management practices.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Account Management, including maintaining client relationships, understanding customer requirements, and supporting pre-sales interactions.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management skills relevant to project execution, coordination with engineering and execution teams, and lifecycle support for awarded projects.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, chemical, or environmental) or a related technical field are preferred.
- Experience in proposal management, tendering, or sales support within water, wastewater, or environmental engineering industries is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and documentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office and basic proposal tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
