Role Description The Project Engineer, Solar Battery Energy Storage Systems role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end engineering and execution of solar and battery energy storage projects, including system design, equipment selection, and technical documentation. Daily activities include reviewing site assessments, preparing layouts and single-line diagrams, coordinating with internal teams and vendors, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety requirements.

The Project

Engineer will participate in project planning and scheduling,



monitor installation progress, and assist in testing, commissioning, and performance optimization of systems. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining accurate project records, and contributing to continuous improvement of engineering practices and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in electrical or renewable energy engineering, including knowledge of solar PV systems, battery energy storage technologies, and power systems.
- Proficiency with design and engineering tools such as AutoCAD, PV design software, and basic electrical calculation methods.
- Experience in project execution, including site coordination, contractor and vendor management, and adherence to safety standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry codes, and prepare clear engineering documentation and reports.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Prior experience in solar EPC projects or energy storage systems is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and readiness to work on-site at project locations within the Pune Division.
