(Cambay Foodservice Packaging) is a 100% export-oriented manufacturer of paper foodservice packaging: paper cups, folding cartons, boat trays, bakery boxes and food-grade wrapping paper. We are headquartered in Surat with our manufacturing plant near Kim, Surat district, and we supply foodservice and packaging buyers across Europe, North America and the Middle East.

Role summaryPosition: PPC (Production Planning & Control) Executive Department: Operations / Plant Reports to: Plant Head Location: Kim plant, Surat district, Gujarat Employment type: Full-time, on-site The PPC Executive owns the daily and weekly production plan for the plant. You will convert confirmed export orders into a machine-wise schedule across printing, lamination/coating, die-cutting, cup forming and packing, keep raw material (paper board, PE/aqueous-coated board, inks, cartons) aligned to that schedule, and report plan-versus-actual so that every container ships on its committed date.

Important — industry experience is mandatory. Only candidates with relevant or similar experience in the paper packaging industry will be considered: paper cups, folding cartons, corrugated or mono-cartons, paper bags, adaptable packaging, or printing and converting. Applications from candidates without this background will not be shortlisted.

Key responsibilitiesProduction planning

- Prepare the weekly and daily machine-wise production schedule from the confirmed export order book and committed shipment dates
- Sequence jobs across printing, coating/lamination, die-cutting,



cup forming and packing to minimise changeovers and maximise OEE
- Maintain and update the order-wise production tracker; flag capacity shortfalls to the Plant Head at least one week ahead

Material planning

- Raise material requirements (paper board, coated board, inks, coatings, shippers, pallets) against the plan and coordinate with Purchase on delivery dates
- Track inventory of board and consumables against the schedule; prevent stock-outs and excess
- Ensure every job has approved artwork, die, and specification sheet before it is released to the floor

Control and reporting

- Publish daily plan-versus-actual by machine and shift; investigate variances and record reasons (breakdown, material, manpower, quality hold)
- Monitor WIP and bottleneck stages; re-plan the same day when an order is delayed
- Maintain the dispatch readiness list and confirm container-wise completion with Dispatch and Documentation
- Prepare weekly reports on capacity utilisation, on-time-in-full (OTIF), changeover losses and order backlog

Coordination

- Daily production review with shift supervisors, Quality and Maintenance
- Give realistic delivery dates to Sales and Account Managers on new enquiries and rush orders




- Support new-product trials and the plant's BRC / customer audit requirements with planning records

Who should applyMandatory — industry experience

- 3–6 years in production planning, PPC or production coordination at a paper packaging or printing-and-converting plant
- Relevant industries: paper cups, folding cartons / mono-cartons, corrugated boxes, paper bags, flexible packaging, labels, offset or flexo printing
- Candidates from unrelated industries (textiles, chemicals, engineering, FMCG distribution, IT, etc.) need not apply, even with PPC experience

Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Printing Technology, Packaging Technology, Mechanical or Production Engineering, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of ERP-based planning and strong Excel / Google Sheets skills

Skills and traits

- Understands board grades (GSM, PE-coated, aqueous-coated, kraft), print and die-cut processes, and how job sequencing affects changeover and wastage
- Comfortable working with export order quantities, container loading plans and fixed shipment dates
- Numerate, organised and calm under rush-order pressure; follows up without being asked
- Clear written and spoken communication in English, Hindi and Gujarati

Good to have

- Exposure to BRCGS or ISO 22000 plant documentation
- Experience with multi-machine cup-forming lines or high-speed offset presses

Working conditions and compensation
- Based at the Head Office in Surat (Vesu), Monday to Saturday 10AM to 7PM.
- Compensation: as per industry standards, commensurate with experience (CTC range to be confirmed by HR before posting)
