Role Description The Production Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Karur, responsible for managing day-to-day production activities across home textile product lines. This role coordinates production schedules, monitors work orders, and ensures that manufacturing targets meet quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

The Production

Coordinator works with sourcing, quality, and logistics teams to track materials, resolve delays, and maintain accurate production documentation. Daily tasks include updating production reports, following up with vendors and internal departments, supporting project milestones, and escalating issues that may impact delivery commitments.



The role requires close collaboration with supervisors and management to continuously improve processes and maintain smooth factory operations.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients, and to prepare clear reports and updates.
- Proficiency in Production Planning and Production Management to schedule orders, allocate resources, and track progress against timelines.
- Experience with Project Management to handle multiple orders, monitor milestones, and manage dependencies across departments.
- Solid Organization Skills to maintain accurate records, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in textiles, production, engineering, supply chain, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Knowledge of home textile manufacturing processes, quality standards, and basic export documentation is an advantage.
- Comfort with using spreadsheets or production tracking software and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Ability to work in office in Karur, maintain attention to detail, and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
