Hiring: Physiotherapist – Home Care

Location: Gurugram, Haryana

We are looking for a skilled and patient-focused Physiotherapist to join its Home Care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services, improving patients’ functional independence, and ensuring safe and effective rehabilitation at home.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Assessment & Continuum of Care

- Assess patients’ medical history, current condition, and functional status.
- Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans.
- Monitor treatment outcomes and modify interventions as required.
- Ensure effective discharge planning and provide home exercise programs and discharge instructions.
- Communicate patient progress and treatment outcomes to consultants and the interdisciplinary team.

2. Clinical Leadership & Team Collaboration

- Participate in departmental meetings, team activities, and continuing education programs.
- Conduct in-service training sessions for staff and physiotherapy assistants.
- Supervise physiotherapy students, provide clinical guidance, and document their progress.
- Ensure adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and clinical standards.

3. Clinical Documentation & Information Management

- Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes, registers, and service statistics.
- Ensure timely documentation in the Hospital Information System (HIS), as per organizational policies.
- Maintain and supervise accurate clinical documentation by physiotherapy students.




- Coordinate with consultants and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress.

4. Patient Safety & Quality Standards

- Follow infection control protocols, safe patient handling practices, and emergency procedures.
- Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors during physiotherapy interventions.
- Monitor and coordinate the maintenance of physiotherapy equipment.
- Adhere to organizational health, safety, and information technology policies.

5. Professional Development & Quality Improvement

- Stay updated with current physiotherapy practices, research, and clinical guidelines.
- Participate in professional development, supervision, and in-service education sessions.
- Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of patient care.

Key Requirements

- Qualification: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 1+ year of relevant clinical experience.
- Preferred Qualification: Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) will be an added advantage.
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation skills.
- Positive communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and coordinate with consultants and the multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of patient safety, infection control, and home-based rehabilitation practices.
