Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for an Online CELPIP Trainer. The trainer will deliver live online sessions, guide learners through all CELPIP modules, and provide targeted practice and feedback on listening, reading, writing, and speaking tasks. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, using digital tools and learning resources, evaluating student performance, and offering individualized improvement strategies.

The trainer will also create or adapt practice materials, monitor learner progress, and maintain professional, supportive communication with candidates. Collaboration with the academic team to refine teaching methods and share best practices is expected.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong English language proficiency and clear communication skills, including excellent command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- Candidates should possess skills in online teaching and classroom facilitation, including the ability to manage virtual sessions, engage learners, and explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with CELPIP test format and strategies, including experience preparing learners for language proficiency exams such as CELPIP, IELTS, or similar tests.
- Candidates should possess digital literacy skills, including comfort with video conferencing platforms, online whiteboards, learning management systems, and basic document and presentation tools.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to plan lessons, track learner progress, and handle multiple batches or students.
- A bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred; relevant teaching certifications or prior test-prep experience are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work remotely in a self-directed manner, with a reliable internet connection and a qualified online teaching environment.
- Empathy, patience, and a learner-centered mindset, with a commitment to supporting diverse candidates in achieving their overseas study and work goals.
